This Saturday marked the official end of Fat Beats in NYC, and radio personality Peter Rosenberg, who was also in attendance (along with these folks), managed to snag some footage of A-Trak performing at its’ closing. Sad day indeed. You can head over to Peter’s site for his Fat Beats tribute.

The love fans have for this chick is just… scary. (spotted: UHTN)

On Friday night, Wyclef Jean hit the stage at Hot 97′s annual Labor Day Weekend “On Da Reggae Tip Live” show. During his performance of his political cut “If I Was President,” he had some kind words for actor Sean Penn and Fugees member Pras, who both did not support his presidential bid. Bitter Clef. Props to Miss Info.

“If I was president….I got a message for Sean Penn, maybe he ain’t see me in Haiti because he was too busy sniffing cocaine. I got a message for Praswell, even though you don’t want to support me, I got love for you, even though you only kicked 8 bars for the Fugees…”
