Review by Kingsley Osei

It’s safe to say that Day 26 has defied the odds by withstanding the constant bickering and arguing, which significantly plague all boy bands past and present, but considering that they’re no saints in their own mind right—Sean “Diddy” Combs has effortlessly transformed the TV formed group into well known household names. Just like their Making The Band predecessors Danity Kane, certain individuals have undergone drastic changes in their everyday personalities, and with their die hard fans glued to their TV set each & every week; one can only think will they persevere and overcome a “sophomore jinx” with their latest creation ‘Forever In A Day’? Well the answer is plain & simple, because on Day 26’s first single “Imma Put It On Her” featuring boss man Diddy & Bad Boy representer Yung Joc, the dance floors are sure to be rockin’ all night long—from this infectious hit.

Forever In A Day showcases Day 26’s new found swag, which was evidently missing on their debut album. Band member Willie was once quoted as saying this will be more of “a party record”, and with cuts such as “Your Heels”, “Stadium Music”, & “Need That”, he obviously hit it right on the button. Although they may have collectively experimented with the addition of some up tempo tunes, the album is full of outstanding ballads, which will definitely cater to the hearts of female counterparts all across the globe. Day 26 stays true to their fans, and smoothly sprinkles their syrupy melodies all over the album, and with the steamy tracks “Babymaker”, “Perfectly Blind”, “So Good”, & “Girlfriend”—these will surely be “legend” bedroom cuts for many years to come.

It is a known fact that many albums all have bumps in the road, and ‘Forever In A Day’ is no different, because Day 26 stumbles upon some minor setbacks with the songs “Shawty Wat's Up”, “Then There’s You”, and the sub par filler “Reminds Me Of You.” Despite these little nicks on their sophomore opus, ‘Forever In A Day’ is the epitome of great R&B, and with Day 26 going strong on Bad Boy’s roster, they continue to fill the void, which was once occupied by former quartet 112.

ARE YOU SERIOUS? I agree with most of your post actually 95% but to put "Then There's You" on the sub-par list is blasphemy. Brian KILLED that song but it is your opinion and I respect it of course.

I agree with Anonymous...Then there was you is a great song. Its actually one of my favs. Perfectly Blind, Stadium Music, Truth is a lie, and Bipolar. I love this album. They def showed mad growth. Each of the 5 members hold their own on this cd. Bri is killin it. I loved him on perfectly blind. I loved them all, with their vocal range, but to me, he showed so much control on his normally high vocal register. I love DAY 26!!!!!!
