Well it seems Mr. Katt Williams has officially gone mad, and I mean looney aka mentally off the hinges. The famed comedian was recently sent to the mental hospital. The Sumter Item in SC has reportedly said that Williams went to visit his family members, and ended the trip to Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Here are the events which led to his hospitalization:Earlier on Friday, police responded to a call at a motel after employees spotted Williams wearing a bathrobe and a towel wrapped around his head.
Police determined no criminal activity had taken place and officers left.
Williams next stop was at the office of attorney Garryl Deas where he spoke to the attorney because he felt the police were “attempting to violate his rights.” Williams even spoke to Deas about the rumors that he had died in a plane crash earlier this month.
After Deas left and returned an hour later, Williams was waiting for the attorney and his demeanor had changed and Deas felt Williams seemed “disoriented.”
At this time, Williams family arrived and tried to take the comedian to the hospital for a mental evaluation (View Full story here).

Publicist statement released:
Yesterday, we reported that comedian Katt Williams had been hospitalized to undergo a pyschiatric evaluation. See story here [link not inlcuded]. Williams’ publicist just released the following statement to Punchline Magazine.
Following an arduous 300 shows and an 18-month touring schedule that left him incredibly fatigued, Katt felt compelled to be with his family in an effort to deal with his stress. While doing so, he is under a doctor’s care.
As this is a private and personal matter, we hope the media will respect his family’s request for privacy.
